Dr. Wen-Mei Chou is a relationship specialist who has extended counseling experiences with various relationship issues, e.g. communication difficulties, trauma, infidelity, and grief. She has a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy and is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a Professional Counselor (LPC), and a State Board approved Clinical Supervisor.  In addition, she is a trained hypno-therapist and a certified breathwork trainer.  Dr. Chou has integrated hypnosis and breathwork treatment skills into her relationship counseling work. Her counseling skills have helped many couples improve their relationships and make changes quickly. Dr. Chou was raised in Taipei, Taiwan. Receiving higher education degrees and providing counseling services in the United States have deepened and integrated her understanding of many multi-cultural issues that surface in counseling. Her unique cultural background has enriched her teaching and clinical practice. She has led many relationship and specialized workshops in both the United States and Taiwan in the past years.  She is the proud mother of Jett Chou Leonard, who was born April 30th, 2007.
