Dean's Welcome
Welcome to the website for the Graduate School at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. UMHB has several Master's degrees: Master of Arts (M.A.) in Community Counseling, Marriage and Family Christian Counseling, School Counseling and Psychology, Academic Specialization for Psychology and Counseling, and Religion; Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Administration, Educational Psychology, Exercise and Sports Science, Reading Education, and General Studies; Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Accounting, Management, and Sport Management; and Master of Science in Information Systems (M.S.I.S.). Professional certification programs are also available in a number of these fields. Pending approval from appropriate accrediting agencies, plans call for UMHB to begin offering the Doctor of Education degree (Ed.D.) in 2007, a Master of Science in Nursing degree (M.S.N.) in 2008 and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Liberal Studies in the near future.
Excellent facilities, extensive library resources, and an experienced and committed faculty create an intellectually stimulating environment for the pursuit of graduate education at UMHB. For students interested in pursuing a degree, this website provides extensive information about each program. If you have questions, please contact the Graduate School or the program director of the program of your interest. I also invite you to visit the beautiful UMHB campus and meet our friendly administrators, staff, faculty, and graduate students. If you want a solid, affordable education offered in a Christian environment, you will find a home at UMHB.
Sincerely,
Derek H. Davis, J.D., Ph.D.
