Admissions Requirements
Applicants must submit:
- Application for Graduate Admissions
The Application for Graduate Admissions is available online. No action will be taken on any application until the $35 application fee has been submitted. - Official Transcripts
Official transcripts from each college previously attended must be sent directly from the institution to UMHB Graduate Admissions. Even though courses taken at one institution are noted on another college's transcript, applicants must submit transcripts from each institution attended. - Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT)
The GRE/GMAT must be taken and official scores reported if you are applying to the Doctor of Education program. For applicants to the Master of Arts in Counseling program the GRE/GMAT is required if the applicant's cummulative undergraduate GPA is below 3.0. The GRE/GMAT is not required for other programs. Submit ALL admissions documents to the Director of Graduate Admissions, Melissa Ford, at the address below. Any documents, aside from official transcripts, may be faxed or e-mailed as a pdf file or uploaded with your online application. *Please note, reference letters sent via fax or e-mail should come directly from the originator of the letter.Click here if you are an international applicant to review additional requirements and documentation needed.
